US Commercial Senior Finance Manager

Leica Biosystems seeks a Senior Commercial Finance Manager to lead financial analyses and drive business performance for its cancer diagnostics segment. The role involves developing executive reporting, standardizing commercial metrics across geographies, and partnering with senior leadership to influence strategic decisions through data-driven insights.
Responsibilities
- Partner with US senior commercial leadership to drive business performance, providing financial insights on orders, revenue, funnel health, pricing, and profitability
- Lead pricing, margin, and profitability analyses to evaluate strategies, customer investments, and growth initiatives aligned with profitability objectives
- Establish consistent performance management methodologies and ensure alignment of reporting, forecasting, and analytical approaches across the organization
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to standardize commercial reporting, enhance forecasting accuracy, and improve decision-support capabilities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with 8+ years commercial finance experience; or Master's degree with 6+ years relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience partnering with senior commercial leaders to influence strategy and support complex business decisions
- Strong understanding of commercial business drivers: orders, revenue growth, funnel management, pricing, and profitability metrics
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills for senior leadership audiences
- Ability to operate independently in fast-paced, matrixed environment managing multiple priorities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP, BI, or performance management systems (SAP, Power BI, OneStream)
Compensation: $160,000–$180,000 base; eligible for bonus/incentive pay
