Payroll Operations Manager

About the Role
Join a leading commercial construction and energy services team as a Payroll Operations Manager based out of Seattle, WA. This role contributes to high-profile projects across commercial mechanical and works alongside experienced professionals who value collaboration, quality, and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Support accounting, billing, and financial reporting for an active construction operation.

• Maintain accurate project cost tracking, job costing, and reconciliations.

• Partner with project managers on billings, AR, and contract compliance.

• Assist with month-end close, audits, and financial analysis.

• Improve processes, controls, and reporting tools across the finance function.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a related accounting & finance role within commercial construction, energy services, or related industries.

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage priorities, deadlines, and cross-functional relationships.

• Comfort working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications, licenses, or formal training relevant to the role.

• Experience supporting large commercial, data center, healthcare, life science, or institutional projects.

• Familiarity with modern construction technology, tools, and workflows.
