Field Supervisor - Highway Maintenance

Field Supervisor Position Summary Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc., is currently seeking a full‑time Field Supervisor to work alongside Highway Maintenance Technicians in Houston, TX. The Supervisor will oversee a variety of highway maintenance tasks, including attenuator repair/install, sign repair/install, guardrail repair, concrete repair, and related activities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as company policies. Required Experience Bilingual in English & Spanish Minimum 5 years of supervisor/field lead experience in highway maintenance Roadway/toll lane maintenance experience Industry knowledge of highway maintenance and/or the construction transportation field Operator of wheel loader, skid steer, forklift, mini excavator, etc. Preferred Experience 5+ years of roadway maintenance experience MOT certifications (traffic control) CDL license a plus Clean Driving Record & Background Check Clean driving record is essential. Must pass criminal background check. Company will conduct Background check, MVR and Controlled Substance testing prior to hire. Qualifications Minimum associate degree or equivalent work experience Experience working in the field as a Supervisor/Lead worker Maintain company standards for background checks Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations Carry out simple arithmetic functions Maintain proper safety equipment for each job Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology Ability to use smartphone and applications Ability to adjust to changing work schedule and answer emergency call outs Ability to work safely under varying environmental and weather conditions Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly while twisting; other strenuous manual labor may be required Ability to operate hand/power tools ???
