Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

The Production Associate supports a high-volume manufacturing environment by assembling sub-components of motors, performing quality checks, and preparing parts for shipment in a clean, organized, and fast-paced facility. This role is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude, comfort using hand and power tools, and a strong focus on accuracy, safety, and teamwork. You will work on the first shift, rotating through different work cells, and follow detailed instructions to ensure products meet strict quality and reliability standards.

Shift: 7am-3:30pm

Pay: $18/hour (with room for growth)

Responsibilities

• Assemble sub-components of motors and related products according to detailed work instructions and specifications.
• Pack parts and finished products securely for shipping, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
• Pick and stage items for production to support efficient workflow across multiple work cells.
• Complete quality checks on parts and assemblies to verify accuracy, functionality, and conformance to standards.
• Clean and prepare metal parts by removing protective oils used to prevent rust during shipping.
• Read and follow detailed written and visual instructions, including those presented on a computer screen.
• Rotate between different production cells and tasks as needed, adapting to changing priorities and assignments.
• Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and effectively during assembly and preparation tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all facility and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members in production lines of 8–20 people to meet daily and weekly output targets.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent production schedules.
• Participate in on-the-job training and certification for new tasks, tools, and processes as required.
• Follow the company’s attendance policy and adhere to scheduled shift times, including optional overtime when volunteered.

This is a Permanent position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Buffalo Grove,IL.
