General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS
Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements ARRT MR
How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 1
Will they have to float/cover any other areas? no
Experience or 'Must have' skills
Average # of scans/studies per day 14
EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use EPIC
Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech Vanessa Hamer
Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? no
Radiologist in-house? yes not overnight
Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) Yes
Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) 3 12's plus call 1 night per week every 3-4 weekends
