Business Intelligence Analyst

Optomi, in partnership with a leading logistics/distribution company is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join their growing team in Alpharetta, GA. The Business Intelligence Analyst will be a key member of the Finance and Accounting organization, supporting the Commercial (Sales, Marketing, and Account Management) teams through analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.

This newly created position will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights by developing Power BI dashboards, maintaining reporting integrity, automating workflows, and supporting commercial performance initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and technical skills while also being comfortable partnering directly with business stakeholders and technical teams

What the right candidate will have:

• 2+ years of Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Reporting experience
• Power BI dashboard development expertise
• Salesforce reporting experience
• SQL proficiency
• Strong data governance and data quality experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience supporting business stakeholders and gathering requirements
• Strong communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities of the right candidates:

• Build, maintain, and automate Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
• Extract, manipulate, and analyze data from Salesforce and other systems
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and governance across reporting assets
• Support commercial forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Data Engineering teams
• Translate business questions into actionable analytics solutions
• Maintain customer and prospect intelligence reporting
• Support lead generation and commercial growth initiatives
• Leverage AI and automation tools to improve reporting efficiency and scalability
• Act as a trusted analytics partner for commercial leadership and stakeholders
