What You’ll Do: Own day-to-day accounting: AP, AR, payroll, GL, and full month-end/quarter-end/year-end close under GAAP. Strengthen internal controls across cash, fixed assets, and reporting; prep for clean audits. Build budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses; deliver dashboards that drive executive decisions. Lead ERP transition from QuickBooks to Infor Syteline; integrate HRIS, expense, and finance tools. Partner with program leads on cost accounting, direct/indirect cost analysis, and scenario modeling. Coordinate external financial and government audits; FAR/DFARS/CAS experience a plus. Collaborate with C-suite and manufacturing leaders to align finance with strategic goals. What We’re Looking For: Experience : 4–6+ years in progressive accounting; manufacturing or tech background required (aerospace/defense a major plus). Education : Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; CPA or public accounting background strongly preferred . Technical Skills : Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency (QuickBooks or Infor Syteline transition); cost accounting knowledge essential. Knowledge : Deep US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting; government contracting exposure a plus. Skills : Dynamic communicator who translates numbers into strategy for executives and engineers. Mindset : Hands‑on builder, strategic thinker, and thrives in high‑growth, fast‑paced environments.
