The role involves working closely with data functional teams to ensure efficient data integration, transformation, and delivery. Strong Unix/Linux scripting skills are required to support automation, scheduling, and batch processing activities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFollowing is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Specific activities may change from time to time.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenterCreate and maintain mappings, workflows, sessions, and transformationsDevelop data integration solutions to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sourcesPerform data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting of ETL processesOptimize ETL performance and implement tuning strategiesDevelop and maintain Unix shell scripts for job automation, scheduling, and monitoringWork with SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects for data processingSupport production deployments, issue resolution, and maintenance activitiesCollaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirementsEnsure data quality, integrity, and compliance with standardsParticipate in SDLC phases: requirements, design, development, testing, and deploymentRequired Technical SkillsInformatica PowerCenter / Informatica Cloud (IICS)Strong knowledge of ETL development and data warehousing conceptsProficiency in SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc.)Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux and Shell scriptingExperience in data modeling and database designKnowledge of workflow scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, Autosys)Understanding of performance tuning and optimization techniquesExperience working with multiple data sources (XML, flat files, RDBMS)Preferred/Additional SkillsFamiliarity with Agile methodologiesExperience with version control and release managementSoft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood communication and collaboration abilitiesAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and within teamsGeneral Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation: All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.
