Senior Project Executive

The Senior Project Executive (Sr. PX) is the sales leader and client relationship driver for their project team. Reporting to the Project Director, the Sr. PX is accountable for securing profitable work, building long‑term partnerships, and ensuring the team maintains a healthy and strategic backlog. This role serves as the bridge between clients, estimators, and project managers, owning the front end of the sales process and supporting a smooth handoff into operations through project completion. The ideal candidate combines high emotional intelligence, business acumen, and a drive for growth—with a deep commitment to integrity and service. Key Accountabilities Sales Leadership & Business Development Identify, develop, and secure profitable project opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic goals. Create and manage a robust pipeline to support consistent backlog growth and revenue targets. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain deep relationships with key clients, GCs, and decision‑makers. Act as the primary relationship lead from initial contact through contract execution. Win work that supports backlog health, resource alignment, and financial targets. Ensure proper scoping and risk assessment prior to estimating and contracting. Partner with Estimators to develop win strategies, value‑engineering options, and accurate, competitive pricing. Lead proposal efforts and presentations where needed. Turnover to Project Execution Team Ensure accurate and complete turnover of project scope, schedule, budget, and client expectations to Project Managers from Estimator/PX. Forecasting & Reporting Maintain accurate records of opportunities, pipeline, booking forecasts, and margin expectations. Provide timely updates for team, departmental, and executive‑level reviews. Strategic Account Expansion Identify new opportunities within existing client accounts. Pursue larger or multi‑phase opportunities that support long‑term growth and repeat business. Cross‑functional Collaboration Work closely with Admins, Accounting, Logistics, PMs, Estimators, and Field Operations to ensure alignment on approach, resources, and project delivery expectations. Stay informed on market conditions, competitive landscape, and client capital plans. Use this insight to position the company advantageously in key segments. Culture & Team Engagement Act as a cultural leader within the team. Participate in internal development efforts, mentor Assistant PXs/emerging PMs, and uphold the company’s core values in all interactions.
