Professional Services Solutions ArchitectThe Professional Services Solutions Architect is a customer-facing, hybrid pre-sales and delivery-aligned role that serves as the technical bridge between Sales and Professional Services. This role partners closely with Sales during the pre-sales cycle to understand client requirements, design scalable solutions, respond to RFPs, and define implementation scope. Post-sale, the role ensures a smooth transition into Professional Services by validating technical assumptions, integrations, and delivery expectations.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, customers, and delivery execution and who is motivated by getting solutions sold right and delivered successfully.Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Sales & Sales PartnershipPartner with Sales during sales cycles to provide technical guidance on solution design, architecture, and integration considerationsParticipate in client discovery and sales calls to understand business goals, technical environments, and success criteriaRespond to RFPs/RFIs, providing clear, accurate, and scalable responsesExplain solution capabilities, integration options, and implementation approaches to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersIdentify technical risks, assumptions, and dependencies early in the sales processScope Definition & Commercial AlignmentCreate, review, and refine Statements of Work (SOWs), including: implementation scope and deliverables; integration and API requirements; data conversion assumptions; identity and access management considerations (e.g., SSO); timeline, responsibilities, and constraintsEnsure proposed scope aligns with product capabilities and Professional Services delivery standardsUse AI-assisted tools (e.g., generative AI, automation, and analytics) to improve the speed and quality of solution design, documentation, and RFP/SOW responses while maintaining accuracy and customer confidentialityTechnical Architecture & IntegrationScope and design technical approaches for: REST API integrations; data conversions and migrations; Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions such as ADFS, OAuth, or OpenID ConnectWork with client IT teams, internal Engineering or Product to validate feasibilityDocument high-level solution architectures and integration approachesProvide guidance on best practices for secure, scalable implementationsPost-Sale Transition & Delivery SupportLead the technical handoff from Sales to Professional ServicesSupport Professional Services teams by clarifying scope, integration designs, and technical decisionsParticipate in early delivery phases as needed to ensure project kickoff successRequired QualificationsExperience in a SaaS environment, preferably supporting enterprise or mid-marketPrior experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant, or Implementation ArchitectStrong understanding of APIs and system integrations; data migration and conversion strategies; identity management and SSO conceptsExperience supporting sales engagements and drafting or reviewing SOWsExcellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable responding to RFPsAbility to translate business requirements into clear technical and delivery solutionsPreferred QualificationsBackground in Professional Services, consulting, or implementation deliveryExperience working with cross-functional teams across Sales, Services, Product, and EngineeringExperience supporting public safety, education, healthcare, or other regulated environments preferredFamiliarity with incident management, CAD/RMS, dispatch, or case management systems preferredComfortable using AI-enabled tools (e.g., generative AI copilots) to accelerate drafting, synthesis, analysis, and documentation paired with strong quality control and responsible-use practicesFamiliarity with enterprise IT environments and security considerationsEOE/M/F/Disabled/VetThis company is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or protected veteran status.
