You'll greet guests like old friends, move fast without cutting corners, and help keep our shop clean, organized, and full of good energy. No two shifts look exactly alike, so you'll need to think on your feet and pitch in wherever the team needs you. If you like staying busy, working with your hands, and being part of a crew that has each other's backs, you'll fit right in here. WHAT YOU'LL BRING Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Strong communication and people skills — you know how to make someone's day Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory Ability to stay on your feet and keep up with a fast-moving shift BONUS POINTS FOR Previous experience in food service or hospitality Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Customer service training or certification Experience running a point-of-sale (POS) system (Toast) Bilingual skills — the more guests you can connect with, the better WHAT YOU'LL DO Greet and help guests promptly and courteously, answering questions and taking care of what they need Prepare and serve food and beverages to company and health code standards Keep workstations, dining areas, and equipment clean and organized Work shoulder-to-shoulder with the team to keep service fast and smooth Handle guest feedback with professionalism, and loop in a manager when needed Follow all safety, sanitation, and operational procedures Help manage inventory and restock supplies as needed Ugly Bagel is an equal opportunity employer.
