About the Role:
This school-based position focuses on conducting psychological evaluations, supporting special education eligibility, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective intervention strategies. The School Psychologist plays a key role in helping students access appropriate services and thrive in the educational environment through data-driven decision-making and consultation.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Active Louisiana Department of Education certification in School Psychology
• Compliance with IDEA and ESSA requirements for school-based services
• Completion of supervised internship and training aligned with national standards
• Ability to pass background check, fingerprinting, and district clearances
• Strong assessment, data analysis, and collaboration skills

Job Duties:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students
• Interpret data to determine eligibility for special education services
• Develop and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide behavioral interventions and consultation to staff and families
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in meetings
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Support crisis intervention and student mental health initiatives
