Phlebotomist

Job Location & Schedule LabCorp, 2067 West Vista Way, Suite 275, Vista, CA 92083. Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (additional hours and rotating weekend shifts may be required). Pay Range: $21.00 – $33.00 per hour, based on skills and experience. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Basic Qualifications High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License Preferred Qualifications 1 or more months of experience as a phlebotomist Current or prior experience with Labcorp Additional Job Standards In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement.
