UI/UX Developer

Job Title

Work closely with the Agile team members to drive the team's commitments to quality

Converting UI/UX design specifications into functional web interactions

Design, implement, and own adaptable, scalable, performant, and robust web applications that will run across browsers from mobile to desktop

Support production software operations, test and debug programs

Quality inspections of test and development artifacts within the team

Track issues and work within the agile team to identify root causes

Report progress and status of work you're leading to project teams and managers

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Experienced with REACT

Experienced with JavaScript and the programming paradigms it supports

Experienced with TypeScript and associated concepts

Understanding of REST APIs, API Use Patterns

Experienced/Exposure to Angular (or similar)

Expert/Exposure with React Testing Library and/or Test Driven Development (TDD) (or similar)

Expert/Exposure to Axios, React, Redux, Reach Hooks, Redux Thunk, Redux-Saga and Material-UI (Or similar)

Experience with the animation of React Components and animation in general (or similar)

Understanding of asynchronous control flow

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is desired but equivalent experience will be considered

Programming skills/education in a 4GL development language (example: Java)

Familiarity/education with technologies: Docker and containers; Amazon AWS; MySQL RDBM; NOSQL DB, RclientMS

Familiarity/understanding of agile development and continuous integration

Leadership at the individual level: having the confidence and resilience to do things differently – be self-empowered

Communication: understand and express ideas / solutions in a comprehensive and practical format – knowledge sharing

User Focus: an absolute focus on the user (internal or external) experience – every aspect of a solution should be productized for ease of use
