CASIS is a part of Chenega Corporation’s Military, Intelligence, and Operations Support (MIOS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU). The SBU operates as a leveraged services model that increases the depth & scalability of our support staff while reducing costs to our customers. Chenega Advanced Solutions and Intelligence Services is seeking a Mission Project Specialist - SME - to manage the daily operations of the Army Enterprise Staff Management Systems (AESMS) Product Lead. The Mission Project Specialist SME will create, execute, and improve sustainable operational processes for AESMS and the Army acquisition community. Responsibilities Support monthly recurring actions: AESMS Staffing Tracker updates, Prepare EXSUMs on PL designated topics. Prepare external communications (Info Papers/Memos/email text), CCIR and AAR preparation, maintain AESMS command briefing and associated documents, develop content for Program Reviews to PM BTS and CPE ES2. Supervise ASEMS contracted Operations Specialist Journeyman. Respond to assigned Taskers and coordinate responses. Provide annual support for ASEMS RMIC actions, update ASEMS internal policies, and update ASEMS strategic communications products Support Risk Management activities and updates. Direct by PL, support cost estimates, provide course of action recommendations, support system leads with analysis, and develop memorandums and white papers. Provide product support to JETMS system leads and stakeholders including issue resolution, supporting contract activities, and answering taskers and requests for information. Develop service level agreements. Support agile activities including daily syncs and PI planning efforts. Engage and collaborate with Project Officers and their subordinates to identify, detail, and develop plans to address efficiencies in procedures and processes Deliverables (to include but not limited to the following): Reports and work products to include - Special Project Reports; Documentation of the results of analysis in white papers, presentations, or other required format to share the recommendations that meet the requirements. Enable Product Leads, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams through proactive expectation management, ensuring clear alignment and timely decision-making. Translate complex program updates, risks, and technical information into concise, actionable executive messaging that drives transparency and stakeholder confidence across all organizational levels. Supervisory duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Master’s degree with 4+ years’ experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years’ experience Background check required Successfully pass background and drug screening Preferred Qualifications: Secret Security Clearance preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to establish, evaluate, and monitor critical standard business processes. Ability to assist with comprehensive documentation of business process analysis and design. Ability to identify and implement significant process improvements that result in measurable and impactful benefits at an organizational level. Ability to assist with capturing, analyzing, and strategically reporting on key process performance metrics, including cycle time and significant efficiency gains. Ability to assist with building sophisticated and impactful data visualizations in Power BI/Tableau to communicate strategic process performance and the impact of significant improvement initiatives to senior leadership. Subject Matter Expert level understanding of process mapping and documentation techniques. Experience working with US Army organizations and their strategic operational processes and leadership decision-making is strongly preferred. Expert level of experience in facilitation, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex strategic process information to diverse audiences, including senior leadership. Ability to help influence and drive significant process change across different teams and at all levels of the organization. Possess organizational skills and attention to detail in process documentation and analysis. Ability to help manage multiple complex process improvement projects simultaneously and meet critical deadlines.
