Production Manager

Catalent seeks a Production Manager for its gummy manufacturing facility in Greendale, Indiana. The role oversees daily production operations across packaging and molding lines, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient output while leading and developing supervisory staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily production planning and execution across packaging and molding operations to meet schedule, quality, safety, and cost targets
- Reduce unplanned downtime and process disruptions through continuous improvement methods and structured problem-solving
- Monitor, analyze, and report on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and operational performance using accurate data
- Schedule, train, coach, and mentor team members to strengthen capability and operational efficiency
- Ensure production records, cleaning documentation, and sanitation activities are complete, accurate, and compliant with procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years production or manufacturing experience in confectionery, food, pharma, or consumer goods
- Demonstrated leadership capability with ability to build trust and develop talent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across organizational levels
- Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment, process operations, and production controls
- Proficiency analyzing operational data and performance metrics to drive improvement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within timelines
