What to Expect As a Facilities Spares Technician at Tesla, you'll be essential in managing spare parts inventory to support the maintenance and upkeep of our manufacturing plants and facilities, ensuring uninterrupted operations and minimal downtime for equipment and systems. Your primary responsibilities will include inventory tracking, procurement, receiving, quality control, and logistical support in a dynamic production setting. This position is part of our Facilities Operations and Maintenance team, collaborating closely with technicians, engineering, planners, operators, and supply chain specialists to sustain efficient plant functionality. By optimizing spares management and reducing operational disruptions, you'll directly contribute to Tesla's mission of accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy-enabling high-efficiency production of energy products while minimizing waste and environmental impact.
