Turret Lathe Machinist
Location: Wooster, OH
Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM3:30 PM
Pay: $21.00$23.00/hr., based on experience

Mancan is seeking a Turret Lathe Machinist to join a local manufacturing team. This is a full-time, 1st-shift opportunity with competitive pay based on relevant machining experience.

Responsibilities:
Set up and operate turret lathes
Install tooling and set machine stops
Produce quality parts while meeting production requirements
Perform fastener setups
Read and work from blueprints
Use micrometers and calipers accurately
Inspect parts and verify dimensions
Sharpen chamfering and cut-off tooling
Make simple tooling as needed
Perform basic machine maintenance, including greasing and oiling
Troubleshoot machine issues and make adjustments as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Work independently while maintaining quality standards

Requirements:
Previous machining or turret lathe experience
Ability to accurately use micrometers and calipers
Blueprint reading and understanding of dimensions
Ability to perform machine setups with minimal supervision
Ability to recognize and correct quality or machine issues
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good mechanical aptitude
High school diploma or equivalent
