Marietta Hourly Sanitation Sanitor

Job Title: Sanitation Hourly Employee Department: 123 Manager: Sanitation Supervisor Direct Reports: None Other key team/positions: QA, Maintenance Key Responsibilities:

- Follow all GMP, safety, and departmental procedures
- Responsible for implementing cleaning procedures on assigned equipment (i.e. clean, scrub, and sanitize plant equipment, overhead pipes, conveyors, floor, and walls using high pressure hose, and drying where required to restore sanitary conditions on a daily basis)
- Inspect area of responsibility to ensure proper cleaning of facility, machinery, and equipment
- Operate heavy machinery and industrial plant equipment (may include forklift, pallet jack, or hand truck)
- Report any damage to equipment to Maintenance department
- Assist in other department areas as needed
- Must maintain an attendance record with no more than a 5% absentee rate
- Ability to lift approximately 30 pounds (occasionally more); ability to bend, squat, and climb repeatedly for an entire shift; job requires extensive use of the hands for long periods of time; long periods of standing; ability to adapt to varying work environments, such as waste, debris, and cold or hot weather)
