What We Are Looking For Previous line cook experience in a full-service restaurant is required Multiple years of recent kitchen experience is strongly preferred Experience working multiple stations including sauté, grill, pantry, and pizza is preferred Strong understanding of food quality, consistency, and presentation Ability to work efficiently during high-volume dinner service Excellent knife skills and food preparation techniques Ability to follow recipes, plating standards, and portion specifications consistently Strong sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality Ability to communicate effectively with chefs and fellow team members A positive attitude and willingness to support the entire kitchen Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays A desire to grow professionally within our culinary team Position Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and standards Execute assigned station with consistency, speed, and attention to detail Maintain proper food quality, portion control, and presentation Ensure all food is prepared safely and served at the proper temperature Assist with daily prep and station setup before service Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation Communicate effectively with the Chef, Kitchen Manager, and fellow cooks throughout service Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations Properly label, rotate, and store all food products Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing inventory when needed Complete opening, running, and closing duties each shift Support banquet, catering, and special event food production as needed Work collaboratively to ensure timely ticket execution during busy service periods Help maintain a positive, professional kitchen culture Schedule and Availability Camps Kitchen | Bar primarily serves dinner and evening guests but also hosts scheduled daytime private events and holiday brunches throughout the year. Applicants must be comfortable working a flexible schedule based on the needs of the restaurant. Availability may include: Evening and dinner shifts Scheduled daytime private events Holiday brunches throughout the year Weekends Holidays Opening and closing kitchen responsibilities Additional shifts during peak business periods and special events The strongest candidates will be dependable, flexible, and willing to adjust their availability as business demands evolve. While dinner service makes up the majority of our operation, successful team members understand the importance of supporting our daytime events and holiday brunches when scheduled.
