**Line Cook Job Description - Nino's Italian Restaurant**

**Position Overview:**
Nino's Italian Restaurant is seeking a skilled and experienced line cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in Italian cuisine, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position requires flexibility and availability to work from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, 5-6 days a week, including weekends.

**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and cook a variety of Italian dishes, including pasta, risotto, seafood, and meat entrees, according to Nino's recipes and standards.
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure the safety and quality of all food products.
- Coordinate with other kitchen team members to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
- Collaborate with the sous chef and executive chef to develop new menu items and specials.
- Assist with food preparation and cooking during peak hours to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

**Qualifications:**
- 2-3 years of experience as a line cook in an Italian restaurant or similar culinary environment.
- Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, cooking techniques, and ingredients.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing consistently high-quality dishes.
- Flexibility and availability to work from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, 5-6 days a week, including weekends.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
