Oncology Registered Nurse (RN)Shift InformationDay shift: 8 AM - 5 PMJob SummaryWe are seeking a qualified Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) with specialized skills to provide care in an outpatient setting. The role involves direct patient care, including infusion therapy, chemotherapy administration, and some wound care. This position offers an opportunity to build meaningful relationships with a small group of patients while performing general nursing duties in a rural environment.Contract DetailsStart Date: ASAPContract Length: 13 weeksMinimum QualificationsCurrent ONS Provider certification requiredCurrent, unencumbered RN license in Utah or a compact stateGraduate of an accredited school of nursingCurrent BLS and ACLS certificationsWound Care certification preferred but not requiredKnowledge of infection control principles and patient safety techniquesDemonstrated critical thinking skills in rapidly changing circumstancesSelf-motivated and capable of working independently as well as in a teamExcellent customer service and communication skills (oral, written, and listening)Ability to manage sensitive information professionally and maintain confidentialityCalm and professional demeanor in stressful situationsReliable and punctual work attendanceFlexibility to accept additional duties as assignedMust be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have an approved exemptionMission and VisionWe are committed to putting the patient first, delivering quality, cost-effective healthcare, and promoting wellness within the community.
