Accounts Receivable and Payable Specialist

Supporting financial operations for a federal government contract, the full-time Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Specialist will manage invoicing, payments, and financial records while working in a hybrid environment. Key responsibilities Prepare and submit invoices in accordance with contract requirements and timelines while tracking receivables and following up on outstanding invoices Process vendor and subcontractor invoices accurately and timely, coordinating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies Maintain organized financial records and assist in tracking contract funding and expenditures, ensuring compliance with internal policies and contract requirements Required qualifications Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1 to 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or general accounting support Basic understanding of invoicing, billing, and payment processing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks, Bill.com, and other financial systems Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
