Dining Room host

Job Description: At Chick-fil-A, the Dining Room Host/Hostess plays a key role in creating a welcoming, clean, and enjoyable dining experience for our guests. As the face of hospitality in our restaurant, you’ll ensure guests feel cared for and valued from the moment they walk in. Key Responsibilities: Greet all guests with warmth and enthusiasm Proactively assist guests with seating, high chairs, condiments, refills, and any special requests Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining room, drink stations, and restrooms Regularly sanitize tables, chairs, high-touch surfaces, and other guest areas Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently Assist with light bussing and tray pick-up Engage with guests through friendly conversation and attentive service Assist with taking trash and recycling to dumpsters Assist Kitchen as needed with Dish Cleaning Provide support to front-of-house team during peak times Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns with professionalism Uphold Chick-fil‑A’s high standards of cleanliness, courtesy, and service Qualifications: Strong interpersonal and communication skills Friendly, outgoing, and guest‑focused attitude Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Team‑oriented with a positive and adaptable mindset Must be able to stand, walk, and be active for extended periods Previous customer service or restaurant experience is a plus but not required Benefits: Competitive pay Flexible scheduling Sundays off Opportunities for advancement Scholarship opportunities Free or discounted meals A positive, encouraging team environment Other full‑time benefits based on eligibility At Chick-fil‑A, we’re more than just a restaurant – we’re a team committed to serving others with excellence and care.
