Materials Management Clerk 3 (U), Full-Time

Work Shift: Full-Time: 40 hrs. per week; M-F, Days, Nights. Flexible Shift, On-calls and weekends may be required. Work Location: University of Miami Hospital & Clinics - Logistics & Materials OR Surgery UTower CORE JOB FUNCTIONS Monitors material requirements and tracks movement between facilities. Ensures material inventory levels are sufficient to meet production schedules or inventory requirements. Ensures all necessary supplies and par levels are maintained for all assigned areas. Receives, inspects, and delivers all incoming supplies. Maintains all order-related documentation and tracking information. Approves all critical supply logs for storeroom inventory supplies. Reviews product use and coordinates ordering to ensure best pricing. Works with other departments to resolve inventory and supply order issues, ensure timely deliveries, and address stop shipments or credit holds. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets. CORE QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School Diploma or equivalent/relevant experience, certification or license Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience required Certification and Licensing: Refer to department description for applicable certification requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Learning Agility: Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and protocols, and adapt to changing priorities and work demands. Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a team environment. Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using office software, technology, and relevant computer applications.
