Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Baltimore, Maryland. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care to a diverse patient population, including neonates, pediatric, and adult patients. The role requires a high level of clinical skill, particularly in critical care settings with high-acuity patients, and the ability to manage advanced respiratory equipment and procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience; active MD or Compact license; certifications including ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, Respiratory Therapist (RRT); must have experience with all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, and adults; strong PICU/NICU experience essential for handling high-acuity cases; proven competence in advanced respiratory management and specialized procedures.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system; community hospital experience; LTAC, trauma level I and II experience preferred; prior experience with high-frequency jet ventilation in NICU.
• Additional Information: Position involves caring for mixed age levels across NICU, pediatric, and adult units. Candidates must be comfortable with high-acuity neonatal respiratory support, including jet high-frequency vents, and equipped to handle complex respiratory interventions and equipment such as Maquet Servo i, Draeger V500, and nitric oxide systems. Floating within scope and within the specialty is required; on-call not required; weekend coverage every other weekend; scheduled orientation of 12 hours prior to start date.
