Packer/Inspector
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7am until work is finish (must be available to work overtime)
Location: Elizabethtown, PA area (cold warehouse environment)
Experience: No experience needed – on-the-job training provided
Job Overview: We are currently hiring Packers to join a premier facility in the Elizabethtown, PA area. This is an excellent opportunity to get started in a manufacturing role with on-the-job training. Our client offers a supportive environment with a focus on safety and quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pack finished products into boxes, following specific pack sizes and packaging guidelines.
- Inspect bags for nonconforming seals to ensure product quality.
- Assist in the daily sanitation and cleanliness of the packing room to maintain safety and hygiene standards.
- Palletize finished products according to specific TI/HI (Tier/Height) requirements.
- Accurately record finished product information on pallet movement sheets.
- Assist in the daily sanitation of the packing room.
- Inspect products as they pass through the vibratory machine for non-conforming products or foreign debris.
- Report any nonconformities to the QA department or management immediately.
- Assist in the daily sanitation and upkeep of the packing room.
Additional Information: Must be comfortable working in a cold warehouse environment. Overtime is required as needed. If you are dependable, motivated, and ready to work in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.
