As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Clearance Required Experience in Chantilly, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Professional at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required incident reports.
- Maintain awareness of site activity and communicate professionally with client representatives, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
