Position SummaryIn collaboration with the supervising physician, the Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), at Ocean County DOC, Toms River, NJ provides comprehensive psychiatric and medical services to incarcerated individuals within the Department of Corrections. Services are delivered in accordance with community standards of care, correctional healthcare regulations, and applicable state and federal laws. This role emphasizes patient-centered, evidence-based mental health treatment in a secure and multidisciplinary environment.
