Our Supply Chain Team is seeking sharp, energetic individuals with an unwavering eye for detail. As a Commodity Manager for Instrumentation and Avionic Components, you'll be a critical pillar of the Firefly Supply Chain Team. Step up, contribute meaningfully, and shape the future with us. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement supplier engagement and supply base growth strategies to support company objectives. Conduct strategic market analysis to stay informed about industry trends and best practices in your assigned commodity group. Lead negotiations with key suppliers to secure advantageous terms and ensure compliance with contracts. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure supplier capabilities meet the current and future needs of the business. Drive internal communication through collaboration with Firefly stakeholders (Program Management, M&P, Quality, Engineering, Production, and other functional areas). Manage supplier risk, including regular assessments and development of category and supplier-specific mitigation strategies. Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance regarding quality, cost, delivery, and innovation. Facilitate regular business reviews with key suppliers to discuss performance metrics, future opportunities, and challenges. Support supplier integration into the company's systems and processes. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance and R&D teams to ensure product specifications and quality requirements are met. Organize and participate in supplier workshops, conferences, and other events to foster supplier relationships and continuous learning. Support (TCO) cost savings efforts for assigned commodity group. Drive schedule recovery and corrective action in support of program and production goals. QUALIFICATIONS Required Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. Strong affinity for networking and building lasting relationships with partners / suppliers A minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a similar role with a focus on supplier management. Deep knowledge and history of procurement in electrical components, ICs, PCBAs, wiring harnesses, etc. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships. Proven track record of managing suppliers and improving supplier performance. Knowledge of procurement software and tools. Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel as required. MS Office (including Excel, Word & Outlook) Desired Odoo ERP/MRP knowledge. ITAR experience. Aerospace Industry experience as an OEM, Supplier, Contractor, or Sub-contractor. Experience in an R&D focused environment, Prototyping and test environment a plus.
