Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory tests across various disciplines such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following stringent protocols.
• Evaluate test results with meticulous attention to accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for testing as the need arises.
• Meticulously document procedures, mentor new staff or interns, and uphold the lab's commitment to quality standards.
• Maintain a tidy and secure work environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparations.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hiring.
• Maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
