Licensed Massage Instructor - Spanish Speaking

Job Description

Healing Hands is hiring a Bilingual Licensed Massage Therapy Instructor to teach adult students in evening classes. This role includes instruction in both massage theory and hands-on practice. This position includes the option of also picking up afternoon and morning classes.

Minimum Requirements

Current Texas Massage Therapy Instructor License
Availability to teach evening classes
Fluent in Spanish
Comfortable teaching adults from a wide range of backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications

Instructor certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
Bachelor’s degree or higher

Duties

Teach assigned courses following school and state standards
Keep accurate attendance and grade records
Monitor student progress and report concerns to administration
Enforce school rules and maintain classroom order
Keep classroom clean and compliant with health and safety regulations
Support students’ professional development
Stay current with industry standards
Complete continuing education as required by school policy
Perform other duties as assigned
