Job Description As a Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer at ANS Residential Mortgage, you will be responsible for originating mortgage loans by guiding customers through the entire loan process from application to closing. You will work closely with clients to understand their financial situations and goals, providing them with suitable mortgage options and assisting them in selecting the best product for their needs. Your expertise in mortgage products, strong customer service skills, and adherence to regulatory guidelines will contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding service and exceeding client expectations. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of prospective borrowers' financial circumstances to determine eligibility and advise on appropriate mortgage products. Educate clients on the various loan programs available, including conventional, FHA, VA, USDA and Non QM loan options, explaining terms, rates, and costs associated with each option. Guide clients through the loan application process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all documentation. Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and closing teams to facilitate a smooth and timely loan approval and closing process. Maintain regular communication with clients, real estate agents, and referral partners to provide updates on loan status and address any concerns. Meet or exceed production goals while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and compliance with all regulatory requirements. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and changes in lending guidelines. Requirements Current and valid NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System) license in North Carolina. Proven experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer or similar role, with a successful track record of loan originations. In-depth knowledge of mortgage loan products and guidelines, including compliance requirements. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to evaluate financial information and determine suitability for loan programs. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
