Senior Accountant

We are hiring a Consultant to support our growing SAAS client in San Francisco. Hybrid – 3 days onsite Contract Length: 6+ Months Senior Accountant role will support the day-to-day accounting operations, fixed assets and month-end close process. This role will play an important part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and improving accounting processes. Key Responsibilities Support the month-end close process , including preparing and posting journal entries, maintaining supporting documentation, and assisting with financial statement preparation. Perform balance sheet reconciliations, roll-forwards, and variance (flux) analysis to identify key financial drivers and ensure accuracy. Manage accounting for areas such as prepaids, fixed assets, depreciation, and software capitalization . Assist with external and internal audits , prepare audit schedules, and support ad hoc finance and accounting projects Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with strong knowledge of GAAP. 5+ years of general accounting/month end close experience Experience with NetSuite and strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.). SaaS or technology industry experience preferred. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
