B1 Production Operator

Production Assembler - 3rd Shift
Location : Whitsett, NC
Shift : 3rd Shift

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Production Assembler to support production operations and continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving operational efficiency while ensuring high-quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities
Hardware Assembly : Assemble complex server components (motherboards, CPUs, RAM modules, storage devices, power supplies) following engineering drawings and work instructions.
Tool Operation : Utilize manual and automated tools for component installation, fastening, and torque setting.
Quality & Inspection : Perform visual and functional inspections on units to ensure strict compliance with specifications.
Process Tracking : Log production data, track assembly cycle times, and report defects or process deviations.
ESD & Cleanroom Standards: Maintain an organized, clean workspace adhering to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protocols.
Team Collaboration : Work with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot line issues and improve workflow efficiency.
Packaging : Assist in safe packaging and labeling of completed server units for shipment.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education : High School Diploma or Technical Certification required; Associate Degree in Electronics or Manufacturing is a plus.
Experience : Experience in electronics, server hardware assembly, or PC building is strongly preferred.
Technical Ability : Ability to read technical drawings/schematics and use basic diagnostic/hand tools.
Process Safety : Familiarity with ESD-safe handling procedures.
Soft Skills : High attention to detail, manual dexterity, and basic computer skills for data entry.
Physical Requirements : Ability to lift and handle server components safely.
