Shape meaningful educational experiences as the instructional and behavioral leader within an Intensive Services Program designed to support students with complex needs. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a highly specialized, self-contained classroom, serving one to two students who require individualized and continuous supervision. As the teacher in this Life Skills Education program, you will coordinate tailored educational and behavioral interventions, oversee classroom staff, and collaborate closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure positive outcomes for your students.

Key qualifications and experience sought:

• Active Special Education Teacher licensure
• Demonstrated experience working with students with significant intellectual, behavioral, social-emotional, communication, or adaptive needs
• Expertise in providing direct academic instruction, behavioral support, and differentiated programming in highly structured settings
• Proficiency in team leadership, staff supervision, and collaboration with families and related service providers
• Skilled in data collection, progress monitoring, and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)

Core responsibilities include:

• Deliver direct, individualized instruction and create specialized learning plans for students in the Intensive Services Program
• Implement proactive behavioral supports and address social-emotional needs with evidence-based strategies
• Supervise and mentor classroom staff, ensuring a safe, supportive environment with a minimum of two trained adults present at all times
• Communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and maximize student growth
• Maintain thorough documentation and uphold all compliance requirements
