Pharmacy Operations ManagerAmerita, Inc. is a leading provider in home Infusion therapy. We are looking for a Pharmacy Operations Manager to join our Pharmacy team as we grow to be one of the top home infusion providers in the country. The Pharmacy Operations Manager will work in our Ameriita branch.Amerita is an entrepreneurial-founded company and a wholly owned subsidiary of PharMerica. The home infusion market is positioned for rapid growth driven by the aging population, increase in chronic diseases, robust pipeline of infusible drugs coming to market, and an industry shift from hospital delivery settings to lower-cost, high-quality alternative providers such as Amerita.As a core member of the Pharmacy team, you will be expected to develop and execute the strategic market plan to achieve the business objectives and budget expectations for the marketplace. The Pharmacy Operations Manager is responsible for the branch pharmacy operations under the advisement of the General Manager. This will include: Oversees multiple pharmaceutical services including pharmaceutical care activities for customers within the service area and monitors, ensures patient outcomes are documented and reported proactively. Oversees and directs warehouse operations, pharmacy inventory management, prescription compounding, dispensing process, home medical equipment management and supply management and delivery process.Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pmBenefits and perks for You!Medical, Dental, Vision insuranceHealth Savings & Flexible Spending Accounts (up to $5,000 for childcare)Tuition discounts & reimbursement401(k)Company Paid Time Off*Shift DifferentialDailyPayPet InsuranceEmployee wellness and discount programsResponsibilitiesSupportive team with room to work independentlyOngoing training and career growthAdvancement opportunities in a growing companyReferral bonusesAs a Pharmacist In Charge you will:Ensure full compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards.Supervise and direct pharmacy staff in key operational areas including scheduling, purchasing, and clinical responsibilities.Collaborate with pharmacy management to implement efficient daily operations and quality improvement or cost containment strategies.Provide clinical and technical support to pharmacy and regional staff, fostering a team-based care model.Respond promptly and accurately to pharmaceutical inquiries from customers and internal staff, interpreting clinical needs and providing expert advice.Maintain comprehensive patient records, including medical history, lab data, and concurrent medications (including OTC and alternative therapies).Accurately document all communications with healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers in the pharmacy system.Secure and maintain necessary documentation to ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and corporate policies.Enforce safe practices for the procurement, storage, distribution, and disposal of medications and biological products.Document all communications and clinical interventions in the patient's medical record, including interactions with families and caregivers.Perform additional duties as assigned to support the pharmacy team and patient care goals.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (BPharm or equivalent)Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of practiceDemonstrated pharmacy experienceIn-depth knowledge of pharmacy laws and both federal and state regulations related to long-term careFamiliarity with pharmaceutical care practices for long-term care residentsProficiency in computer use, including pharmacy management systemsDesired:Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)Experience in long-term care pharmacy settingsBehavioral Competencies:Strong organizational and planning skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyGoal-oriented and self-motivatedProven team player with a collaborative mindsetExcellent customer service orientationEffective oral communication skills*Position will be posted for a minimum of 7 business dayAmerita, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a specialty infusion company focused on providing complex pharmaceutical products and clinical services to patients outside of the hospital.
