Production Associate

We are seeking dedicated Production Associates to join our growing team! This role involves performing batching processes, machine operation, and material handling. This role is great for someone who enjoys learning different processes as day-to-day work varies! We work on a 1st shift M-F 6am-2:30pm schedule, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Measuring and preparing raw materials and chemicals.
• Operating and monitoring production equipment and processes.
• Material handling with forklift and pallet jacks.
• Packaging of final production and preparing for shipments.
• Quality control for accuracy, safety, and customer specifications.
• General housekeeping tasks to help ensure clean and safe work environment.

Essential Skills

• Experience working in a manufacturing setting
• Previous experience in batching, mixing, or compounding is a plus
• Material handling skills
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Machine operation and mechanical knowledge

The plant is situated on the east side of Columbus. The work environment can be dirty and is non-climate controlled, however despite this the facility is kept very clean and well-maintained. Safety is a top priority, ensuring that everyone operates as safely as possible.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH. The pay range for this position is $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
