ELECTRICIAN

Key Responsibilities and Activities Undertake projects involving electrical wiring for lighting, safety, and other electrical systems Ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints Ensure the electrical work fully complies with designs and requirements Develop and implement plans to identify and carry out plans to address, correct, and minimize risk Install safety and distribution components, such as switches, resistors, and circuit‑breaker panels Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks Prevent system breakdown by inspecting and replacing old wiring and cables, cleaning circuits, etc. Ensure the successful completion of all projects Position Requirements High school diploma, technical school certificates, or equivalent required (Bachelor’s Degree preferred), with a minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician Ability to identify, assess, and address various project risks and opportunities Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints Experience with inspection and preventative maintenance Must have a valid driver’s license and working vehicle Grant offers competitive compensation and benefits, including health and 401K plans.
