• Evaluate results for precision, resolve discrepancies, and conduct preventative maintenance along with calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new team members or students, and maintain high lab standards.
• Ensure a tidy, safe workspace while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or similar degree with ongoing ASCP or AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Acquire ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within your first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification status throughout your tenure.
