Be Remarkable!Position Summary:Unit Tech/Clerk works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care under the direction of a RN. A Unit Tech/Clerk is expected to assist the patient in maintaining good hygiene, activities of daily living and to support quality of patient care.What Patient Care Assistant, PCA will do:Respond to patient call lights for assistance or by roundingProvide or assist patients with personal hygiene including showers, oral hygiene and dressing/undressingTransports patients as needed for procedures, transfers or dischargeMaintains a clean and uncluttered environment in patient roomsWhat Patient Care Assistant, PCA will need:High School diploma or equivalentNurse Aide Certificate (CNA) or 6 months experience working in direct patient care as a Patient Care Assistant or Nurse tech or completion of one full clinical rotation in nursing schoolWell developed communication skills, both written and oralAble to communicate effectively with individuals and groups representing diverse perspectivesArticulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy, values, mission and vision of the organizationOur CommitmentRooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
