Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,500 - $1,580
• Setting: Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing
• Employment Type: Travel LPN
• Schedule: Full-time evenings, 5x8s
• Shift Duration: 8-hour evening shifts
• Hours per Week: 40
• Contract Duration: 22 weeks
• Start Date: 10/13/2026
• Orientation: Must be able to start full-shift orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday
• Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend and holiday coverage required

Job Requirements

• Active New York LPN license
• BLS certification from AHA or RQI only
• At least 1 year of experience working as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• At least 1 year of long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience
• Ability to provide care for adult and geriatric patients
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
• Comfort working in a setting with occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care for assigned residents
• Collect and communicate ongoing resident assessment data to the RN and interdisciplinary care team
• Contribute to individualized, age-appropriate, and culturally responsive plans of care
• Support safe, healthy, and resident-centered care environments in a long-term care setting
• Recommend updates to care plans based on resident outcomes and changing needs
• Collaborate with residents, families, and care team members to promote quality outcomes and satisfaction
• Maintain current clinical knowledge and competency through continuing education and in-service learning
• Assist with mentoring and orientation of staff as directed
• Provide leadership and dependable support under the direction of the RN
