Prime Management Group Inc. is proud to be recruiting a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer on behalf of an influential company in the Buffalo Region. As a key member of the engineering team, the Mechanical Design Engineer will take ownership of mechanical drafting and design for new projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring high-concept products into production. This role requires an experienced, technically minded professional with a strong aptitude for prototyping, mechanical systems, and detailed design documentation . The successful candidate will also: Design and draft mechanical systems and components for manufacturing Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to meet project milestones Develop prototypes and conduct testing for performance and durability Prepare costed Bills of Materials (BOMs) Follow applicable industry standards and internal design procedures Assist in creating fixtures and tools to support manufacturing processes Monitor timelines to ensure project delivery aligns with production and showcase da tes Qualificati ons: The ideal candidate is an experienced design professional with a hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. A background in manufacturing and experience with mechanical systems is essential for success in this role. Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering (BS or ASS)10+ years of experience in a similar design engineering role Proficient with SolidWorks, PDM, and Microsoft Office Suite Strong organizational and project management skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Experience working within industry compliance and safety standards Prime Management Group Inc. will accept all resumes and cover letters from interested candidates in confidence.
