Analyst II

Region 3 is seeking an energetic and detail-driven Analyst II to serve as the Region's lead specialist for contracts, agreements, and fiscal coordination. This position plays a key role in moving mission-critical work forward by ensuring our agreements are accurate, compliant, and ready to support projects across habitat, fisheries, wildlife, lands, and other CDFW programs. In this role, you'll partner with staff across the Region and collaborate with a wide range of internal and external partners to develop scopes of work and budgets, prepare and review agreement packages, and provide guidance on State contracting and fiscal requirements. You'll help keep projects on track by reviewing invoices, monitoring expenditures, maintaining tracking tools, and supporting documentation needs for reporting and audits. You'll also assist with general administrative and fiscal coordination to keep regional operations running smoothly. Personal Leave Program: Effective July 1, 2025, state employees are subject to temporary salary reductions ranging from 2% to 4.62% in exchange for Personal Leave Program (PLP) hours. Please note that the salary ranges listed in this Job Control may not reflect these reductions associated with the 2025 Personal Leave Program.

This position may be eligible for a telework opportunity in accordance with departmental policies and operational needs. Employees are currently required to work in-person at least two (2) days per week. Beginning July 1, 2026, employees will be required to work in-person at least four (4) days per week in alignment with Executive Order N-22-25. Additional in-office days may be required based on operational needs.
