Responsibilities Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensure the procedure room is adequately prepared. Monitor the level of all instruments and supplies. Participate in departmental staff meetings, performance‑improvement activities, and training of new staff. Assist in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures. Qualifications ARRT‑R and state license or Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required. Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab is preferred. Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred. BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and must be maintained. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 30 days of hire. Proficient computer skills.
