Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a critical access hospital with a focus on emergency and medical-surgical units.
• Work in a 15-bed facility serving birth to geriatric patients with a 2:1 patient ratio.
• Manage patients with COPD, diabetes, CHF, cardiac conditions, and trauma.
• Administer cardiac and diabetic drips and other medications, including mixing due to lack of in-house pharmacy.
• Utilize telemetry equipment and electronic medical records (EMR) through Cerner.
• Participate in manager interviews and fulfill all pre-hire requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Colorado with certifications in TNCC, ACLS, and BLS.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an inpatient RN.
• Experience in emergency room and medical-surgical nursing environments.
• Ability to work night shifts and potential day shifts, starting in October.
• Proficiency with telemetry and electronic medical record systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills essential for patient care.
