Facilities TechnicianLocation: Johnstown, PA, US, 15904 Job ID: 115241 The Leonardo DRS Naval Electronics business provides leading naval computing infrastructure, network and data distribution and middleware enterprise services, as well as world-class manufacturing and support capabilities. - Business Unit: Naval Electronics Location: Johnstown, PA Career Functional Area: Facilities Telework Type: N/A - Fully Onsite Type: Full time Schedule: 9/80 - Monday through Thursday and every other FridayJob Summary: Set up, maintain and/or repair equipment and/or systems within our Naval Electronics' Computing and Networks Center of Excellence located in Johnstown, PA.Job Responsibilities:Follow maintenance schedule to ensure regular and preventive maintenance work assignments are completed as requiredPerform service calls, repairs, and equipment installations as directedPerform troubleshooting, diagnostic evaluations, and routine inspections on physical plant systems and equipment as requiredMaintain an inventory of parts and tools, and keep assigned storage areas clean and organizedFollow company and departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines in daily work routines and assignmentsPerform all work in accordance with established safety proceduresComplete appropriate paperwork in a proper manner for the purchase, stocking, and/or use of all materials, parts, and components required for work order completionEnsure work orders contain appropriate and accurate information before submitting completed work ordersMay recommend cost savings strategies and techniques that will not compromise quality and individual safetyPerform other related tasks or special duties as assignedQualifications:High school or trade school diploma; prefer license in specific specialty with a minimum of 0+ years of experienceWorking knowledge of building codes, OSHA requirements, and knowledge of safe working techniques and proceduresModerate knowledge of building maintenanceGood oral and written communication skillsTaking care of our people is a top priority at Leonardo DRS.
