General Manager (01590) – 301 S Commercial Job Type: Full‑time Category: Store General Manager Overview Domino's Pizza is looking for a skilled leader to oversee daily operations, manage the team, and ensure exceptional customer service. The role calls for strong judgment, math skills, and multitasking ability. Responsibilities Oversee all activities during your shift, including cost controls, inventory, cash management, and customer relations. Lead by example and enforce all company policies 100% of the time. Staffing, paperwork, cost control, cash control, food management, schedule adherence, store image, customer service, attendance, punctuality, transportation, cleanliness, marketing, and profitability. Operate all equipment and maintain daily cleaning of equipment and facility. Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler. Prepare product and process telephone orders. Take inventory and complete related paperwork. Communicate effectively with customers and co‑workers via verbal, written, and telephone means. Use computer or touch screen to enter orders. Navigate delivery routes, handle adverse terrain, and make accurate monetary change. Assist with training and orientation of new staff. Qualifications & Essential Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately. Proficiency in verbal, writing, and telephone order processing. Motor coordination for rapid, accurate movements. Computer typing or touch‑screen use. Reading maps and locating addresses within delivery area. Physical ability to navigate stairs, ladders, and handle product loads. Valid driver's license and safe driving record; access to an insured vehicle for delivery. Physical Requirements Standing: Most tasks performed from a standing position, walking on tile and linoleum. Walking: Short distances and durations, travel between store and delivery vehicle. Walking and climbing stairs for delivery duties. Sitting: Occasional paperwork at a desk. Lifting: Bulk product deliveries up to 50 lbs; stacks up to 72". Carrying: Large cans (~3 lbs 7 oz), pizza sauce (~30 lbs), cartons of dough (~12 lbs per tray). Pushing/Pulling: Trays on dollies requiring up to 7.5 lbs force. Climbing: Navigate stairs or ladders to signs or maintenance. Stooping/Bending: At pizza assembly and front counter. Crouching/Squatting: Occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas. Reaching: Up to 72" high to turn oven controls, change signs, etc. Driving: Deliver pizzas within designated area; valid license and vehicle required. Work Conditions Varying weather when outside tasks like trash removal or delivery. Store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to over 90°F in some areas. Sudden temperature changes indoor/outdoor. Exposure to food fumes, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces up to 500°F, and moving mechanical parts. Close proximity to sharp edges and moving parts.
