Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering relevant diagnostic procedures, and developing individualized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing a range of acute, chronic, or episodic conditions in collaboration with supervising physicians or independently, as permitted by your credentials
• Educating patients and their families about disease prevention, wellness strategies, and effective management of chronic conditions
• Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with professional guidelines
• Engaging in follow-up care and chronic illness management
• Partnering with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, holistic patient care
• Maintaining accurate and complete documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Arizona
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialized certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or a commitment to obtain them within 90 days
