Dispatcher

The Dispatcher for HVAC Services will have experience coordinating field technicians, managing high-volume service schedules, and optimizing routes for efficiency and customer satisfaction. Skilled in HVAC dispatch operations, work order management, customer communication, and real-time scheduling using field service management software. Proven ability to support technicians, improve response times, and maintain accurate service records in fast-paced service environments. Duties & Responsibilities Schedule, dispatch, and route HVAC service technicians based on priority, skill set, location, and availability. Monitor technician schedules in real time and adjust for emergencies, delays, or cancellations. Gather accurate service details and enter work orders into the system. Provide appointment confirmations, arrival windows, and updates to customers. Create, update, and close service tickets in dispatch or field service software. Communicate clearly with technicians regarding job expectations, parts availability, and schedule changes. Requirements High school diploma or GED required. 1–3+ years of dispatching or scheduling experience (HVAC, plumbing, electrical preferred). Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to remain calm in fast-paced, high-volume environments. Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
